Privacy — Learn about Liberty

Our Congressional leadership is at it again! An attempt to completely wipe out our civil rights and privacy. Congress is attempting to pass a bill they call “Earn It” it is an anti-encryption bill that would destroy our privacy, companies, and individuals would be fully exposed to back door hacks and total loss of privacy should they somehow tack this bill on to the next stimulus bill.

PC Mag wrote a great piece yesterday about the entire move — “Signal threatens to Dump the US market over the Anti-encryption Bill.”

By the way, a stimulus bill favoring the wealthy and still coming up short with putting our money in the hands of individuals.

I remember the early days when Congress attempted to tax the Internet suppressing our rights to free inter-state commerce and further suppress how new technologies bring about better methods of communication. Jeff Pulver and friends all led the charge to have everyone write their representatives to express our concern about such unjust actions, which would have allowed a few to continue to control our communications and inter-state commerce.

So please take a moment and express your concern, this is no time to take advantage of us — now is the time for us all to come together.
